We were both very pleased with our performance, and we "agreed" that both of us just HAD to go through... And our wish came true!
Wow, what a roller coaster... When Espen said Rebecca's name, my first thoughts were that it was well-deserved, and that I couldn't've done anything differently. And that was what I was about to say to Siri (show host) when I suddenly heard a sound coming from one of the other chairs...
Apparently, Ina Wroldsen didn't want me out of the contest just yet! From those few seconds right before Espen said Rebecca's name, to the moment Ina pressed her button, I was going through so many emotions. Being stolen, and believed in by an artist and songwriter like Ina is an amazing feeling, and an incredible honor. I'm looking forward to see what Ina and I can bring to The Voice stage together.
